Thank you for visiting my “About” page. I don’t find it easy to write about myself, preferring to listen and learn from my daily life in the real estate business. So, this is a short overview of who I am and how I conduct myself at work.
I have a long career, now over 42 years, with many hundreds of transactions of all sizes and types, mostly in Carson Valley/City, but also ranging into the surrounding towns and communities of Northern Nevada. The first 16 years of it, were spent in a large city – Toronto in Canada, where the exciting downtown-core residential revival made for a fascinating introduction to the real estate market and its practices.
Moving to Minden NV in 1994, I resumed business in a totally different environment where the buyers and sellers were dealing with different motivations than their city counterparts and quickly found that the pace and character of the business was more in keeping with my own personality. I am mostly low-key and have a lot of patience, preferring to help clients find/do what they really want, even over extended periods of time, rather than to rush or pressure them into a transaction that may not feel right to them.
Since the late 1990s, I have written and posted my website www.Carsonvalleyhomes.com and with it have helped very many home Buyers and Sellers through their goals and challenges, at the same time gaining wide experience and pleasure in the work I do. I actually have fun in this profession, but take my responsibilities to my clients very seriously. I will always strive to have- your -back!
I will never know everything about the real estate profession, but hope to continue learning with every new client I meet and every transaction I help them put together!

In my limited spare time, I indulge my passion for the Sport of Soaring as it is practiced at Minden-Tahoe Airport, world renowned as one of the Greatest Soaring Sites. I have been a FAI Certified Flight Instructor in Gliders for over 30 years and like to share my airtime and knowledge with other pilots and participate in the training of young pilots. In other spare moments, I play home-based music and enjoy my small collection of Classic Motorcycles in the lovely surroundings of Carson Valley and the eastern Sierra.
